Dylan is very low-key, at least around friends. He usually doesn't care or stress about what people think of him. He just doesn't think it matters that much. A lot of his friends have always admired him for that. Dylan also exudes a confidence about him because he is so low-key. Although, the truth is, he is not overly confident. Not in the sense that he cocky, he just does his own thing.

Dylan is also very smart. He knows a lot about the world around him. But he is mostly attracted to astronomy. His friends can find him by the lake staring at the sky. He always found it amazing and astonishing at the same time. Although he is no Hermione Granger. He does do fairly well in his classes.

He is also very fun to be around. He likes to make people laugh and smile. His life was never perfect at home, so he likes to find joy with his friends. He wants to live life, not just run through it.

Dylan was born in a small town just south of London. He was the middle child of three, so he wasn't really noticed much. His brother was the oldest and was expected to run the house while his sister was the youngest and was babied through everything. His parents forgot he was around most of the time. So he just faded into the background willingly.

But don't feel bad for Dylan because he moved on with his life. He made friends very easily and was very enthusiastic about life. Of course, when he was younger, life was hard. His parents did not have much money and really could not support the family. His father got drunk every night and would try to drown his sorrows in alcohol. He soon became an alcoholic and was unwilling to get treatment.

He heard her parents fight all the time while he was trying to sleep. His sister would cry herself to sleep every night. And that was hard as it was.

As he grew up, he tried to hide her past from his friends. He did not want people to feel sorry for him. So he just would not talk about it. His brother, on the other hand, tried to drown his sorrows as well, just in a different way. His brother tried to commit suicide many times but someone always walked in on him and saved him.

It really scared Dylan. So he vowed to make his life without his parents a pleasant one. And when he comes home, he tries to please his parents as much as possible. He wants them to feel like they can count on him.
