Ericka Marquee is the only daughter of Kim and Jared Marquee. Known for her beautiful looks and bright personality, Ericka can be crowned the Sweetheart of the Quileute Family Pack. She knows the legends behind her heritage and knows she has a possibility of becoming a wolf. At first, she is not excited to know that her mother and her brother are wolves, but after awhile, she accepts it. Little known to her, her own body is slowly coursing her in the same direction as her mother.
***** Chambers is a nomadic vampire. He is forever stuck at 17 years of age. After restless years of trying to search for his mate, ***** had decided to let nature take its course with his love life. Upon arriving in Forks, Washington, no one seems to interest him. However, while walking around one day in Forks, he sees Ericka Marquee. Immediately, he is drawn to the scent of her blood, but he soon finds out her heritage.
*****, however is determined to change Ericka's destiny. ***** seeks after her and slowly, but surely starts to draw Ericka to him. Meanwhile, the entire quileute pack is counting down the days as to when Ericka will join them. Make no mistake; Ericka's life is in danger, especially when Sam Uley gains knowledge from the Cullen Family that there is a dangerous Vampire in town. When Jared discovers his only daughter in the arms of ***** Chambers, he is quick to send out alarms to the Pack. He can only hope that Ericka will change soon before **** makes her his for all eternity.
Will Ericka be saved from *****'s arms and live to make the transformation to a Quileute Wolf? OR Will the Quileute Pack be too late to save Ericka from ****** and live her life forever at 16 as a vampire?
